Seven suspects arrested in cases of attempted murder, theft

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department (CID) cadres have arrested three armed suspects wanted for various crimes, including the attempted murder of man by shooting him a few days ago in Jabal Al Hussein, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Saturday.
The suspects were in possession of a pistol and hashish, and were referred to the Criminal Court prosecutor. The PSD also said that CID cadres arrested four suspects wanted for shop thefts in a raid on a house in northern Amman where they were staying.
The suspects were in possession of lock picks, gloves and live ammunition. Upon questioning, the suspects confessed to committing 10 thefts of various shops in Amman and the investigation is still ongoing.
