AMMAN — Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) President Majid Tabba on Tuesday praised the government for endorsing a by-law that obligates engineering firms and contractors to appoint newly graduated engineers from all governorates, according to a JEA statement.
Tabba stressed that the association works side by side with the government to create job opportunities for engineers. He noted that the JEA has trained 2,212 engineers in 2016 at several public sector agencies, adding the JEA is tasked with regulating the profession.
