Thneibat checks on schools in Jerash, Ajloun

AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Tuesday said the ministry has floated JD167 million worth of tenders to renovate school buildings.
He made his remarks while checking on schools in Jerash Governorate, where he directed the ministry to establish a primary school in the Souf area and another school in Wadi Deir Sharki to address overcrowding due to the growing number of Syrian students.
He also called for establishing several facilities in a secondary school for girls.
Also on Tuesday, Thneibat checked on schools in Ajloun Governorate and listened to students’ and parents’ demands.
