Three dead, two injured in Mafraq road accident

AMMAN — Three people died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Safawi-Azraq road, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement.
Mafraq CDD cadres, in cooperation with Zarqa CDD cadres, administered first aid to the injured and took them to Mafraq Public Hospital and Prince Hashem Military Hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Also on Monday, a small fire erupted at a commercial building in downtown Amman, a CDD statement said. CDD cadres controlled the fire and no injuries were reported. Initial investigation indicates the blaze was caused by an electric fault, according to the statement.
