Two aircraft carrying 360 tourists from Poland land at Aqaba airport

AMMAN — Two aircraft, carrying a total of 360 tourists, arrived at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba on Monday, from Warsaw Airport in Poland. Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said that the flights’ arrival signifies the commencement of a tourist air bridge linking Aqaba and Warsaw, noting that the air connection is slated to remain operational until the conclusion of the current year. He also expected the air bridge to facilitate the transportation of 4,536 tourists through a projected 24 flights from Poland before the year's end. King Hussein International Airport, during January — August period processed 226,000 passengers, marking a 90 per cent increase compared with the previous year.
