AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) received on Tuesday a $500,000 donation from the Emirates Red Crescent to treat underprivileged Syrian and Palestinian patents at the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC).
HH Princess Dina Mired, KHCF director general, received the cheque from United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Jordan Bilal Rabee Al Budoor at the KHCC.
The donation is in line with a memorandum of understanding between the KHCC and the UAE Red Crescent. Princess Duna said the Emirates Red Crescent is one of the KHCF’s major supporters.
Budoor commended the services offered at the KHCC, and was briefed on the healthcare provided to cancer patients from Jordan and the region.
