Unstable weather forecast for coming days

AMMAN — A slight decrease in temperatures is forecast for Sunday, bringing moderate fall weather during the day, and unstable weather conditions in the evening, with a chance of light rainfall, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD). 

There is a chance of light rain turning into thunderstorms with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the weather department.

On Monday, the Kingdom is forecast to remain under the grip of unstable weather conditions, with temperatures dropping further, bringing light rainfall across the Kingdom, and turning into thunderstorms in some areas, according to the JMD.

The weather department added that a slight drop in temperatures is also forecast for Tuesday.

Throughout the week, the weather department warned of low-visibility early at dawn due to fog formation, slippery roads during rainfall and low-visibility in Badia areas due to dust formation.

On Sunday, temperatures in Amman are forecast to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 17°C, while on Monday they are forecast to range between 27°C and 16°C. On Tuesday, temperatures drop further to range between 25°C and 14°C.

In Aqaba, the temperatures on Sunday are forecast to range between 32°C and 21°C, while on Monday they are forecast to range between 30°C and 20°C. On Tuesday, temperatures are forecast to range between 29°C and 19°C, according to the JMD.
