Winners of 11th ‘App Challenge’ competition honoured

AMMAN — The 11th edition of the “App Challenge” competition was held on Saturday, honouring three young teams of game developers from various regions.
Supported by the King Abdullah Fund for Development (KAFD), “App Challenge” awarded Zarqa's Hind Bint Abu Baker School the first place for developing "Snack Run", while Jerash's Souf Secondary School for Girls won the second place for "The Happy Forest" game.
The third place went to Karak's Manshieh School for Girls for developing the "Eco Finger" game. The event was held on the sidelines of the 2019 Pocket Gamer Connects conference, hosted by the Jordan Gaming Lab, one of the initiatives of KAFD. Small gaming labs will be established in the award-winning schools, according to a statement from organisers on Sunday.
