Wizz Air launches new flight from Bucharest, Romania

AMMAN — Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost airline, on Wednesday launched its first flight to Jordan coming from Bucharest, Romania, and landing in King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.
A statement by the Jordan Tourism Board said that Wizz Air launched eight new flights: four to and from Amman (Queen Alia International Airport) throughout the year, from Hungary's Budapest, Italy's Rome, Italy's Milan, and Austria's Vienna.
The other four flights are to and from Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport), including Budapest, Bucharest, Vienna, and Rome, will just be operated during the winter season.
The Hungarian low-cost carrier is expected to increase flights to reach 32 per week and bring around 167,000 tourists to the Kingdom during the first year of operations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
