865 arrested, 422 vehicles seized for curfew violations — PSD

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) personnel have arrested 865 people and seized 422 vehicles on charges of violating the nationwide curfew over the past 24 hours, according to the department’s spokesperson.
The impounded vehicles will be transferred to the designated holding yards in Swaqa and Muwaqqar, the spokesperson said, adding that the vehicles’ owners will incur all due costs upon retrieving them after one month, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The PSD affirmed that all security personnel are working around the clock to ensure that curfew orders are followed, stressing that the law is being implemented “without compromise or discrimination”.
