Court hears 2nd witness in Salt ring road case

AMMAN — The Amman Magistrates Court on Sunday heard the second witness in the Salt ring road case, in which an alleged JD12 million of public money was wasted, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In its third session, the Public Prosecution charged seven defendants in the case, including two companies with contractor fraud and wasting public funds.
In the second session, the court heard from an employee at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The court is expected to hear from 32 public prosecution witnesses.
