Culture Ministry launches publishing series to mark Kingdom’s centennial

AMMAN — The Ministry of Culture on Saturday announced plans to launch a publishing series to mark the centennial of the establishment of the Jordanian state. The series include four domains: Sectors and institutions in 100 years, senators, national figures and topics related to Jordan’s modern history.
The ministry invited applications from researchers wishing to join the publishing series, the Jordan News agency, Petra, reported. Minister of Culture Basim Tweissi said that the publishing series, which is expected to reach 200 books, will be launched in digital and paper formats, which would enrich “the national memory”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
