AMMAN — The 34th public session in Salt Hospital’s oxygen outage case held on Sunday, in which the Amman Magistrates Court granted the defendants 14 days for their defence attorneys to submit evidence, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The court approved the defence attorneys' request for more time to present their evidence.

The 13 defendants submitted their defence statements after the court's previous session had granted them three days to submit statements.

The court concluded its hearing of 66 witnesses during the previous sessions presented by the Public Prosecution, including the former minister of health, Nathir Obeidat, along with a number of experts and forensic doctors.

The Public Prosecution charged all of the defendants with 10 counts of causing death, after the defendants claimed to be innocent during the court’s first session.
