Gov’t working to ensure Iraqi market is open to local produce — Zu’bi

AMMAN — Agriculture Minister Akef Zu’bi on Wednesday said the government is working with Iraq to ensure that the Iraqi market remains open of Jordanian agricultural produce.
A joint Jordanian-Iraqi meeting was held last week to ensure the smooth flow and entry of Jordanian trucks to Iraq, he said, adding that the ministry’s efforts seek to help Jordanian farmers and exporters.
