JHCO, KSRelif distribute aid to Jordanians, refugees

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), on Monday launched a winter initiative to distribute blankets and bags to some 18,088 underprivileged Jordanian families, as well as Palestinian and Syrian refugees.

Director of the KSRelief branch in Jordan Saud Al Hazim said that the total value of the project amounted $1,698,440, while the number of beneficiaries is 90,440, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. JHCO Assistant Secretary General Mohammad Nasser Kilani said that the project is designated to alleviate the impact of winter on needy Jordanian families and refugees, highlighting the efforts of KSRelief in this arena.
