Khalidiyeh Municipality improving roads, infrastructure

MAFRAQ — The Khalidiyeh Municipality is constructing new roads at a cost of JD400,000, Mayor Ayed Bani Khalid said Sunday.
The municipality received its share of fuel subsidies worth JD350,000, which will be used for asphalt mixes, buying new construction vehicles and providing neighbourhoods with new garbage containers.
He referred to the problems facing the municipality, including the large amount of generated waste that amounts to 20 tonnes every day, and the great number of Syrian refugees which is estimated at more than 10,000 refugees.
