Lower House foreign committee affirms Jordan's support to Lebanon

AMMAN — Jordan stands with Lebanon and its people and always offers assistance, as per Royal directives, MP Khaldoun Hina, head of the Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee, said on Monday.
During a meeting with chargé d'affaires of the Lebanese embassy in Amman, Youssef Raja, Hina stressed the "deep-rooted and brotherly" relations between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Members of the committee called for the release of Jordanians' deposits at Lebanese banks, stressing the importance of enhancing commercial, economic and tourism exchange between Amman and Beirut. Raja praised the efforts of the Kingdom in supporting Lebanon, highlighting the significance of enhancing religious tourism between the two countries.
