Prince Mired emphasises need for BRT project’s accessibility

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, head of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, on Sunday met with the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project’s managers and engineers affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prince Mired stressed the need for joint efforts to incorporate the needs of the disabled and involve them in the decision making process.
Secretary General of the Council Mohammad Azzeh pointed to the compulsory implementation of the 2017 Disabled Law No. 20, which includes constructing BRT facilities for the disabled.
