Water Authority impounds excavator after digging illegal well

AMMAN — Water Ministry/Water Authority of Jordan personnel, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, have seized an excavator in Ramtha that was used to dig an illegal well on a farm. The authority on Thursday said that all illegal fixtures were removed and the excavator was impounded before continuing an investigation into the incident, noting that search for the perpetrators is ongoing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
