Zu’bi discusses agricultural cooperation with Russia

AMMAN — Agriculture Minister Akef Zu’bi on Thursday affirmed the importance of boosting cooperation between the private sector and its Russian counterpart.
During a meeting at the ministry attended by representatives of the private sector from both countries, Zu’bi said the ministry is prepared to supply the Russian market with vegetables and fruit, and discussed the possibility of establishing a Jordanian-Russian centre for agricultural products.
Also on Thursday, the Russian delegates visited the Jordan Valley and met with a number of farmers, expressing their interest in cooperating with them.
