551 administrative detainees to be released for eid

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Tuesday instructed administrative governors to release 551 administrative detainees on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr. The decision was made after a thorough review of their files and ensuring that their release does not pose any threat to their lives or the security and public order of the country, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The decision aims to give them “an opportunity to reengage in society”, Petra added.
