AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Minister of Culture Ali Al Ayed on Thursday attended the opening of the Amman International Book Fair 2021.
The book fair, part of the Kingdom’s centenary celebrations, has been organised by the Union of Jordanian Publishers in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
More than 360 local, Arab and international publishing houses from 20 countries will participate in the book fair, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The fair’s doors will be open until October 2 at the Amman International Automobile Hall on airport road.
The current session is titled “Jerusalem, the Capital of Palestine” and celebrates the late Jordanian writer Mustafa Wahbi Al Tall (Arar).
