Arab youth congress opens Monday

AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Noor is scheduled to attend the 34th International Arab Youth Congress (IAYC) on Monday, organised by the King Hussein Foundation’s National Centre for Culture and Arts (NCCA), in partnership with UNICEF and with the support of the German Development Bank (KfW) and Japan.
Former deputy prime minister and foreign minister Marwan Muasher will be the main speaker at the IAYC, joining young people in open dialogue about issues that include education, boosting skills and early marriage, according to NCCA Director Lina Attel. The congress’ dialogue sessions will last for seven days with the participation of 120 young people representing 10 countries.
