The IAYC is organised by the King Hussein Foundation’s National Centre for Culture and Arts, in partnership with UNICEF and with the support of the German Development Bank (KfW) and Japan. Some 150 young people, representing 12 countries, are taking part in the congress.
Former deputy prime minister and foreign minister Marwan Muasher, the main speaker at the IAYC, said believing in diversity, respecting different religions and being loyal to the Kingdom are basic components for a prosperous future for young people and Jordan.
