Azaizeh notes ‘interconnected’ nature of modernisation tracks

AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Wajih Azaizeh on Tuesday said that the political, economic and administrative modernisation tracks are interconnected and representative of national interests and state strategies in Jordan’s second centenary.
During a lecture at the Royal Jordanian National Defence College titled "Political development and its impact on Jordan's national security", Azaizeh said that political development involves improving the political system's ability to adapt to internal and external variables and develop an effective democracy based on political pluralism and programmatic political parties.
During the lecture, the minister highlighted the government's efforts in promoting the culture of collective political action and instilling the concepts of civic education and democracy in future generations, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
