Body of Jordanian pilot who died in US arrives in Jordan

AMMAN — The body of First Lt. Ahmed Khawaldeh arrived on Sunday at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman where it was received by Royal Jordanian Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen.Yousef Hunaiti, a number of other senior officers and members of Khawaldeh’s family, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
His body was then transferred to Prince Hashim Military Hospital in Zarqa before being buried in Mafraq Governorate’s Balama District. Khawaldeh and an American pilot lost their lives when their helicopter crashed during a training mission in the US state of Texas on August 22.
