AMMAN — The Department of Statistics (DoS) on Monday called upon Jordanians to cooperate with its researchers during the Household Expenditure and Income Survey, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
DoS Director General Qasim Zu’bi said that the survey, which is scheduled to start in early August, will help the government formulate suitable policies to address poverty and unemployment, as well as identify development needs in partnership with the private sector.
Zu’bi stressed that the collected data will be confidential and used for survey and statistical purposes only. The survey’s sample will cover 20,000 families across the Kingdom, according to Petra.
