Dalal appointed adviser at Royal Court

AMMAN — Outgoing director of media and communication at the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah, Khalid Dalal, was appointed as an adviser at the Royal Court on Wednesday.
Dalal started his career at the Royal Court in 2004 as a press secretary, before he was appointed deputy manager of information at the Media and Communication Directorate (MCD), and promoted afterwards to the post of head of planning, then director of operations at the MCD before he assumed the top post at the directorate, holding it for the past six years.
Dalal started his media career as a political reporter and editor at The Jordan Times, and has worked with several international media outlets.
He holds a BA in American and English literature from the University of Jordan, and has completed the international programme in strategic communication from Columbia University in the US.
He is currently pursuing his MA degree at the UK-based Leicester University in media, communication and public relations studies.
Dalal has also attended advanced executive courses in negotiations and leadership communication at Harvard University in the US, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.
