AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Crown Prince Hussein, Youth Minister Mohammed Nabulsi on Tuesday attended the opening ceremony of the Al Hussein Work and Building Camps 2022.

During the ceremony, Nabulsi said that Al Hussein Camps, named after His Majesty the late King Hussein, are considered "historic landmarks" for Jordanians, and contribute “to conveying the message of loyalty and belonging through generations”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He added that the camps are celebrating 54 years of graduating generations of youth “capable of facing challenges”.

This year, the camps are running in-person. Over 15,000 young men and women are participating in 570 camps across all governorates of the Kingdom, which offer a variety of programmes, including programmes on peace and community security, robotics and artificial intelligence, social innovation, electronic game design, volunteering and healthy lifestyles, machines and digital manufacturing and youth job training.
