Freihat meets with Kuwaiti deputy PM

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Tuesday met with Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Mohammad Al Khalid Al Sabah, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. They discussed the latest regional developments and issues of common interest, with a focus on enhancing relations in the military field.
Freihat also headed the Jordanian delegation to the meetings of the Higher Committee for Military Cooperation between Jordan and Kuwait which started on Tuesday, with the Chief of General Staff of Kuwait Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al Khadher. The meetings covered bilateral military cooperation, and plans for a unified framework to achieve greater coordination and exchange of expertise.
