AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has decided to withdraw 10 vehicles from its employees of all ranks, for allegedly violating the vehicle usage instructions during official working hours, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
Hussam Najdawi, GAM fleet executive director, said that the municipality has referred 25 suspected violators to specialised investigation committees for allegedly violating GAM instructions that vehicles use be limited to official work only, as well as exceeding the limits of their designated areas.
Najdawi added that GAM will “not hesitate” to take legal action against those who are proven to have violated the instructions.
