Gaza field hospital doctors perform ‘complex surgery’

GAZA — Doctors at of the Jordan Field Hospital “Gaza 33” on Monday succeeded in performing a complex surgical procedure on a five-year-old child to correct a congenital malformation in his tongue.
Hospital Commander Col. Ghazi Sarhan said the operation is part of the hospital’s efforts and services presented to Gazans.
Hospital Director Col. Khattar Haddadin said the child suffered speech problems and eating difficulties before he underwent the surgery.
