GCC extends condolences over victims of Aqaba gas leak

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh met the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ambassadors to Jordan on Wednesday.
The ambassadors extended condolences to His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the government and the Jordanian people over the victims of the Aqaba port incident, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Khasawneh expressed appreciation of the “brotherly” stances shown by the leaders, governments and peoples of the Gulf countries that is “a testimony to the deep-rooted ties” between Jordan and the GCC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
