Gov’t mourns passing of Jordanian statesman Aqayleh

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz mourned the passing of former minister of municipal affairs Ahmad Aqayleh who died on Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prime minister recalled Aqayleh’s “great services” to his homeland in the various positions he held, and expressed his sincere sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family.
Aqayleh held the positions of governor, undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, state minister, minister of municipal and urban affairs, environment minister and a member of the Senate.
