Health Ministry allocates 350 caravans for Dead Sea quarantine site

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health has allocated 350 caravans for the quarantine site in the Dead Sea area, Adnan Ishaq, the ministry's official in charge of following the coronavirus pandemic in Jordan, said on Monday.
About 40 per cent of COVID-19 detected cases are asymptomatic, he said in his remarks to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Commenting on the treatment, the official said that healthcare providers give supplements and vitamins to alleviate the symptoms to the patients.
Regarding the epidemiological situation, Ishaq said that the increase in local cases is linked to border crossings, pointing out that stringent measures will be implemented to prevent of spread of the virus.
