House speaker, Tunisia ambassador talk parliamentary cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat on Monday emphasised the importance of advancing Jordanian-Tunisian parliamentary cooperation.
During his meeting with Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khalid Suhaili, Oddat drew attention to the need of maintaining Arab institutions’ coordination and consultation, notably parliaments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Tunisian diplomat expressed appreciation of the Kingdom’s stances in supporting the Palestinian cause and maintaining regional stability.
Highlighting the two countries' common vision on the two-state solution, the diplomat reiterated his country’s support for Jordan’s efforts towards defending and supporting Palestinians’ rights, in accordance with international legitimacy laws.
