IEC briefs German ambassador on political participation campaign

AMMAN — Members of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Sunday met with the German Ambassador to Jordan, Bernhard Kampmann, to brief the envoy on the commission’s recent awareness campaign, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The campaign aims to increase political participation through a number of projects and programmes targeting youth and women, most notably the “Ana Usharek” (I Participate) programme. For his part, Kampmann commended the IEC’s efforts, affirming support for the commission’s endeavours in this regard.
