Interior minister orders release of 563 administrative detainees

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Sunday instructed administrative governors to release 563 administrative detainees in celebration of the coming holy month of Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Their release followed a thorough study of the detainees’ files to ensure that they will not pose a threat to themselves or to public security, in an attempt to provide them with the opportunity to re-integrate into society.
