JAF holds funeral for 3 border guard soldiers killed in traffic accident

AMMAN — Three soldiers of the 8th Royal Border Guard Battalion, who died in a traffic accident Friday, were laid to rest on Saturday in a funeral held by the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF).
Corp. Mohammed Ibrahim, Corp. Shaker Khalil and Soldier Musab Issa Abed were accorded full military honours as the coffins were carried on the shoulders of comrades-in-arms to their final resting place after prayers, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Officers laid wreaths on the tomb of the deceased during the funeral in which senior military and security officers, officials and dignitaries took part.
