Jordan expresses condolences to US over victims of Hurricane Ian

AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday expressed condolences to the US government and the American people over the victims of Hurricane Ian that hit Florida and resulted in several deaths and injuries, as well as material damage. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abul Foul stressed the Kingdom's solidarity with the US, voicing condolences to the victims' families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery, according to a ministry statement.
He also called on Jordanians in Florida and other areas that are expected to be affected by the hurricane to exercise caution and adhere to the safety measures announced by US authorities.
In cases of emergency, the spokesperson said that Jordanians in these areas should contact the Kingdom's embassy in Washington at 2022949522, or the operations centre at the ministry headquarters at 00962795497777.
