AMMAN — Jordan's ambassador to Tunisia Maher Tarawneh on Saturday met with Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khalid Suhaili to discuss cooperation in the field of establishing industrial cities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The virtual meeting was conducted in light of the 2018 memorandum of understanding signed by the two governments during a previous meeting organised by the Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation (JIEC) and the Tunisian Industrial Investment Authority.
JIEC Director General Omar Juweid noted on Saturday that, upon Royal directives, the committee has “fostered a suitable environment” for investment, rendering the Kingdom a hub that yields foreign investment.
Stressing the importance of Arab industrial collaboration, Suhaili added that this cooperation will target technical issues, legislation, planning, development and management of industrial cities in both countries, Petra reported.
