AMMAN — Jordan's leadership, government and people will remain the closest to Palestine and its people, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Sunday.
During a ceremony organised by the Palestinian Affairs Department and the services committees and advisory bodies in the Kingdom's camps on the occasion of Jordan’s 76th Independence Day at the Services Committee of Al Baqaa Camp, Fayez said that Palestine is among Jordan's constants, stressing that the Kingdom will not give up its national constants, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also highlighted the challenges that faced the Kingdom, notably His Majesty King Abdullah's rejection of any attempts aiming at liquidating the Palestinian cause, most recent of which was the so-called "deal of the century", noting that His Majesty's stances have always been “crystal clear”.
