Judeh, Araby stress the need for joint Arab action

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh and Arab League Secretary General Nabil El Araby on Tuesday discussed the importance of activating and boosting joint Arab action in a manner that serves Arab causes and deals with regional challenges.
The two sides highlighted the importance of continued coordination between the Arab League and Jordan, especially since the Kingdom holds the presidency of the Arab League ministerial council.
Araby voiced the Arab League’s support for Jordan’s efforts to relaunch Middle East peace negotiations that can lead to the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Judeh and Araby also reviewed the growing phenomenon of terrorism, and called for a political solution in Syria.
