Khirfan attends Host Governments of Palestinian Refugees meeting

AMMAN — The Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Director-General Rafiq Khirfan, and an accompanying delegation, participated in the meeting of Technical Committee of Host Governments for Palestinian Refugees in Beirut on Thursday.

The meeting was intended to promote partners' "strategic" technical dialogues. Several issues related to Palestinian refugees and ways to develop cooperation among host countries to serve Palestinian refugees were discussed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported, citing a DPA statement.

DPA presented its strategy for 2022-2024, primarily focusing on operational goals, referring to German Agency for International Cooperation's (GIZ) support provided for the department in this process. The department also discussed improvement projects for GIZ-funded refugee camps, and the agency’s activities implemented in host countries.
