King congratulates UAE president on recent appointments

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Friday with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed congratulations on the appointment of Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as crown prince of Abu Dhabi.

King Abdullah also congratulated the UAE president on the appointment of Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as UAE vice president, and Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as deputy rulers of Abu Dhabi, according to a Royal Court statement. His Majesty wished them all success in service of the UAE, under Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership, stressing the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and the UAE.
