King, Crown Prince receive UAE president

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Wednesday received United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon his arrival at Marka Military Airport for an official visit.

An official welcoming ceremony was held for the UAE president at the airport, according to a Royal Court statement.

Sheikh Mohamed is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as a number of senior Emirati officials.

The heads of the authorities, senior officials and officers, staff members of the Emirati embassy in Jordan and the Jordanian embassy in Abu Dhabi, as well as a number of Arab ambassadors were also present to welcome the UAE president.

Royal Jordanian Air force fighter jets accompanied Sheikh Mohamed’s aircraft upon entering Jordan’s airspace.
