King urges teamwork to draw up roadmap for second centennial

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday reaffirmed the importance of teamwork to draw up a roadmap for the state’s second centennial.

During a meeting with representatives of various governorates, King Abdullah noted the need to move forward confidently on political, economic, and social development, in service of the nation and citizens’ interests, stressing that the responsibility of advancing the performance of all institutions and enhancing their services falls on all, according to a Royal Court statement.

The attendees highlighted the importance of His Majesty’s directives to revisit the laws regulating political life, and spoke about the need for professional media to build on Jordan’s progress, noting the need to develop the agricultural sector, scientific research, and small-sized companies.
