AMMAN — The Lower House on Wednesday decided to cancel the disciplinary action against MP Tamer Bino (Amman, 5th District) based on a recommendation from MP Tarek Khoury (Zarqa, 1st District), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The House had earlier suspended Bino’s membership for five consecutive Chamber meetings. Bino had approached the House speaker’s podium and addressed the permanent office in an aggressive manner, striking the podium in protest against a speech by Khoury during budget debates. Bino was immediately removed by force.
