Lebanon's caretaker PM Mikati arrives in Amman for official talks

AMMAN — Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived in Amman on Sunday evening for an official visit.

Mikati is scheduled to hold a series of official meetings during his stay, the government-owned Al Mamlaka TV reported, citing the Lebanese News Agency.

Upon his arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, Mikati was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, along with Lebanon's Chargé d'Affaires in Jordan Ambassador Youssef Emile Raji.
