Namrouqa, EU ambassador talk reform progress

AMMAN — Minister of State for Legal Affairs Nancy Namrouqa on Tuesday reaffirmed the significance of continuing cooperation with the EU in various fields and the further development of relations.

During a meeting with EU ambassador to Jordan Maria Hadjitheodosiou, Namrouqa reviewed the government's progress in implementing the political, economic and administrative modernisation paths, described by His Majesty King Abdullah as "state projects", the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister praised the EU's contribution and its support to development projects in Jordan.

Hadjitheodosiou expressed appreciation of the EU-Jordan cooperation and hailed Jordan's efforts in realising its three modernisation plans, as well as enhancing the economic and investment environment.
